"I think that the most important element that people overlook is just basic fundamental technique. I think a lot of people see the glamour side of just putting on the dress and dance around but they don't actually find the time to study the basic fundamentals of movement and whether you're dancing at a lower level or a higher level, that's the one thing that a judge wants to see when competing ? a good dancer doing the basic steps to the highest level technically."
