Brian & Susan Puttock

Born, raised, and trained in England, Brian and Susan started dancing together at the age of fourteen. They were very successful in an Amateur career making the finals of all the major events including the International and Closed British Championships. At the age of twenty, they had the distinction of winning the British Youth Championship. Upon turning Professional they continued their success in Blackpool by placing second in the Rising Star Division. Soon after, they emigrated to the U.S. and were competing for top honors in this country. In 1984, they won the United States Championship in the Standard Division and went on to represent the U.S. in the World Championship. After being National Champions for three years, Brian and Susan retired from competing to devote their time to training, judging and promoting their own competition, the Nevada Star Ball Dance Championship held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada.
