Please join Diane Jarmolow, the world-renowned “teacher of teachers”, for the upcoming
Intensive on the DVIDA® International Standard dances. This workshop will present a solid system for enhancing your understanding of the theory, dancing, and teaching methodology of International Style Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz, and Quickstep. You can take this course to improve your dancing and teaching, and you can also take it with the aim of passing
the certification exam at the end. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers and aspiring professionals to build expertise, earn credentials, and distinguish themselves in the ballroom dance industry.

Class Schedule:

  • Monday –Friday, 9am-5pm (with a 1 hour break for lunch)

  • Come for one week for the Junior Associate, stay for two weeks to complete the Full
    Associate:

    • *Week 1, Junior Associate: October 19-23, 2009
    *Week 2, Finish syllabus figures for Full Associate: October 26-30, 2009
    *Come early for the Autumn Classic Competition in San Francisco.

    DVIDA® Exams: Take the DVIDA® exam on Sat. 10/24, Sun. 10/25, Sat. 10/30, or Sun. 11/1.

    Prerequisites:

  • If your goal is to learn a lot and improve your dancing: Ability to dance either the
    Leader’s or Follower’s role fluidly to music.

  • If your goal is to get certified at the end of the Intensive: Ability to dance both the
    Leader’s and Follower’s roles fluidly to music.

  • Tuition: $550 one week, $995 for two weeks
