Here are some thoughts and tips on becoming beautifully "Bronzed" for the dance floor. While there may be a number of products available for tanning on the market, not all of them may be suited to your needs! I've found that Pro-Tan works best for me and there are a couple of things to keep in mind. First, you may want to start a few days before by using a creme self tanner to start the darkening process, these have some moisturising effects. You may also decide to visit the tanning bed for a week before and after (to help keep your color intact). Make sure you moisturize during this time. The liquid stains should be applied with a good sponge starting 2 or 3 days ahead of the event. Use old sheets on your bed and sleep in old P.J.s. The next morning rinse it off (don't use soap) and carefully apply moisturizer. Repeat this up to the day of the event. The day of, wear it all day and rinse it off before you put on your costume (You'll scare everybody that lays eyes on you including the room service people). You might pay extra attention to elbows and heels, they tend to be dryer and may need massive doses of moisturizer.
