Formerly from England, where he won many Amateur Championships, Geoffrey Fells holds a Fellowship degree with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing in Ballroom and Latin American dance. He moved to Washington DC in 1967 and opened a dance studio. He was the Chairman of the United States branch of the Imperial Society, a position he held for 12 years. He was also the Chairman of the Ballroom Department of the NDCA for several years.
Now, as a resident of Honolulu, Geoffrey organizes the Hawaii Star Ball DanceSport Championships as well as teaching classes and private lessons to local dancers. He also travels extensively to the Mainland usually as Chairman of Judges at most major dance Championships.
