Mark Nocera has carved a special niche for himself in the dance community and over the years has made quite the name for himself. Following a very successful professional career which brought him all the way to representing the U.S. at the World Championships, Mark has continued his endeavor for excellence in the dance world. At Studio 665 in Boston, Mark has choreographed and coached many top amateur students and couples going on to win National and International competitions for over 25 years. He also is the head coach of the Tufts University Ballroom Dance team.
More recently, Mark became the organizer for the Eastern U.S. Dancesport Championships which draws top competitors from around the World to Boston to compete for this prestigious title. In just 3 short years, the Eastern has made a huge splash on the East Coast and has even perked a sizable interest abroad drawing couples from Canada, Italy, Slovenia, and more!
Furthermore, Mark is recognized as a World-class adjudicator by the National Dance Council of America, WDC and IDSF and is a national examiner for DVIDA (Dance Vision International Dance Association).
Mark, his wife Dawna, and two daughters Charisse and Miranda live in Nahant, Massachusetts.
